Portable Line Boring, boring can enlarge the hole diameter, improve the accuracy, reduce the surface roughness, and can better correct the deviation of the original hole axis.


Boring can be divided into rough boring, semi-fine boring and fine boring.



Error compensation methods can be roughly divided into two categories: pre-calibration error compensation and active error compensation. Pre-calibration error compensation is to measure the error first, and then use it to calibrate or modify the subsequent process. It requires the repeatability and accuracy of the machine to be very good: Active error compensation is to monitor the error during the processing and use it to modify the ongoing processing. This method not only requires the repeatability and accuracy of the measurement system, but also requires its signal The processing system and the control system have high computing speed and fast time response to meet the needs of real-time compensation, and the repeatability requirements of the machine tool are not as high as the pre-calibration error compensation technology .


The active error compensation method has many of the above-mentioned advantages over the pre-calibration compensation method, but its cost is high. The compensation system is suitable for large-volume, single-variety processing, and it is difficult to promote small-batch or single-piece production. For the borehole machining dimensional error of automatic machining line, due to the complexity of the system, it is not easy to use the pre-calibration compensation method, and the active error compensation method can obtain higher compensation accuracy through online measurement and compensation.


In the implementation of error compensation, there are mainly two types of methods: hardware compensation method and software compensation method.


1. Hardware compensation method


The hardware compensation method is mainly mechanical compensation. The mechanical micro-compensation device is used to analyze and calculate the error model to select one or several appropriate error compensation points, and the micro-displacement device is used to exert a reverse effect on the machine tool to offset the original error. .


2. Software compensation for errors


In the hardware compensation method, the control device is connected to the respective numerical control system. Generally only suitable for a specific machine tool, the versatility is poor, and the cost is relatively high. Therefore, the software compensation method came into being and is widely accepted by people .


Software compensation is to modify the control program of the machine tool by calculating the error value according to the error model to complete the error compensation. This method often does not increase machine tool hardware such as screw pitch error compensation, and has strong versatility, can also meet the requirements of dynamic performance, and is low in cost. The specific method is to modify the pre-programmed NC machining program through the pre-processing program to complete the compensation.


However, the software error compensation has a strong dependence on the error model, so the accuracy of the error model is required to be sufficiently high. Since this method belongs to the pre-calibration compensation method, the difference between the working state and the state of the portable line boring machine at the time of calibration will definitely affect the final compensation result. Nevertheless, software error compensation methods are still very common in practical applications.


For the problem of the prediction and compensation of the size error of the keyhole machining, due to the structure of the portable line boring machine , software compensation or circuit compensation methods cannot be used to compensate, and only mechanical hardware compensation methods can be used to implement compensation.
